The Core Group consists of some 11 people representing various aspects of the City.

The Chair is the Lord Provost George Adam and the Vice Chair is Dennis Davidson of Energy International Ltd and Chair of the Lord Provost’s Charity.

The Coordinator of Aberdeen 1st is James Knowles ex Local Government Official.

This Group has been meeting basically monthly to move the campaign along and has met in the Town House, Linx Ice Arena, Village Sports Centre, and in the new library at Aberdeen University.
